Where it runs
Since 2008, we have used hosted with RackCorp Private Cloud - A privacy-focused cloud with infrastructure all over the world in private datacenters, not a random hyperscaler free tier. These guys have been an awesome partner for us and also strongly believe in a free and untracked Internet.
What stays local
The site ships same-origin CSS and JavaScript only. Optional browser-side encryption means your passphrase never leaves your device — we cannot recover it.
Your content ownership
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in materials you upload remain with you (or the rightful rights holder). UploadHouse does not take ownership of your content. We only process and store uploaded materials as needed to host them and to deliver or distribute them according to how you use the service. See our Terms of Service for the full license terms.
Accounts & payments
We keep a 5% fee of any fees we accept through this website on behalf of content creators. This helps us pay for the infrastructure required to run this website. If you're using the free services then we take no money from you, but feel free to donate to our beer fund.
